Day 1: ARRIVE KATHMANDU, NEPAL
It is a panoramic thrill flying into Kathmandu on a clear day - The views of snow - capped mountain peaks sprawling down below you are almost ecstatic, beginning a whole chain of memorable experiences that stay with you for a long, long time - Arrival by road will lead to the hotel directly where our representative will be there to welcome the guest.
The representative will assist guest to check into the designated hotel - After short relaxation at the hotel, you will be taken for sightseeing to City Durbar Square - This square is famous for old palaces, temples, Kumari Ghar and so on. Now we move on to Syambhunath, famous world heritage site with magnificent views of the Kathmandu valley and tribute to Buddhism– Night stay at hotel / resort in Kathmandu.
Day 2: KATHMANDU SIGHTSEEING
Come down to the Hotel Restaurant for breakfast. Your tour guide will be introduced. He will guide you through the Heritage sites of Kathmandu. An easy, relaxing day in a comfortable ride with a local guide will uncover totally different perspective of kathmandu.
Kathmandu sightseeing Points – Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swyambhunath stupa (Monkey temple) and Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Day 3: DRIVE TO CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK (160 KM /APPROX 5 HRS.)
After breakfast we will drive out of Kathmandu valley. The road snakes through the scenic mountainous region with Himalayan backdrop to Chitwan. A private car with an experienced driver makes the journey pleasant. Chitwan National park is the last undisturbed vestiges of gangetic plains. Check in the Safari Lodge in the vicinity of Chitwan National Park and join activities like village tour, visit to Elephant breeding center and bird watching.
Day 4: CHITWAN JUNGLE SAFARI
In the morning, go for an elephant back safari inside the Chitwan Jungle. Scrumptious breakfast will be waiting for us at the lodge. After breakfast, give a bath to the elephant. We will be scheduled for activities like bird watching, jungle walk, canoe ride to spot crocodiles etc. In the evening enjoy cultural dance presented by locals.
Day 5: DRIVE TO POKHARA (5 Hrs) | PHEWA LAKESIDE WALK
After breakfast we will leave the plain of Chitwan and drive north towards mountains again. Vantage points on this section of highway offers picturesque view of Himalayan peaks atop verdant hills drained by cascading white water.
Pokhara appears as amphitheater of mountains with lofty snow peaks towards north. Later we will explore Phewa Lake, the biggest of three lakes in pokhara.
Day 6: POKHARA TOUR
Pokhara is a natural capital of Nepal and a starting point of trekking in Annapurna. Pokhara tour includes drive to several points for different vistas of Himalayan landscape. One can hike and mountain bike to several hillsides. The Tibetan refugee Camp is another place of interest in Pokhara. Your exploration sites will be designed according to your preference.
Sightseeing Points: International Mountain Museum, Sarangkot Sunrise View, Devi's Fall, Tibetan refugee camp, World peace stupa.
Day 7: Pokhara to Nagarkot (200 KMS/APPROX 7-8 HRS.)
Nagarkot is famous as one of the best spots to view Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal. Nagarkot is known for its spectacular sunrise view of the Himalaya - A night at Nagarkot is necessary to view the rising sun and Mount Everest as well as other snow-topped peaks of the Himalayan range of eastern Nepal.
It also offers an excellent view of the Indrawati river valley to the east – It has an elevation of 2195 meters is a place whose beauty endures year round – November to March one can view better. Check into hotel. If lucky i.e. guest reaches before sunset one can watch the sunset also – Night stay at Nagarkot.
Day 8: FINAL DEPARTURE FROM NAGARKOT TO KATHMANDU
Early Morning watch sunrise and Witness sunrise at Nagarkot, Scenic view from Dhaulagiri in the west, to Kanchenjunga in the east small village seat at about 7500 Feet altitude - On a fine day one can even see the tip of the Everest from here. Next drive nearly 35 kilometres to Kathmandu Airport. Depending upon the flight timings one can visit Thamel or some of the places of interest on the way or any other places on the way to Kathmandu airport
